Women, like men, tend to have their own personal preference when it comes to everything from interior design to cars to computers. Recently, a PC was designed for women, by women, and it’s from the manufacturer Fujitsu.
Floral Kiss, the brand of personal computers designed by the female employees of Fujitsu, boasts elegance in the form of design, size, accessories, applications, chargers and more. The first PC to be released within this brand is an Ultrabook, named Lifebook, that has the Windows 8 operating system installed, along with a third generation Intel Core i5 processor, 500GB hard drive, and access to Fujitsu’s personal cloud service, named My Cloud.
The Lifebook comes in three different colors: Elegant White, Luxury Brown and Feminine Pink. The Lifebook’s lid features a latch that is easily opened, even by women with long nails. In the name of an elegant design, the LED that indicates the Lifebook’s power status, as well as the Caps Lock key, have a diamond-cut stone decoration. The transparent keyboard enhances the gold ring that surrounds each key, while a pearly accent draws attention to the power button.
The Lifebook’s processor has two cores and runs four threads. The screen is 13.3 inches and featured 16.77 million colors while using a high brightness, TFT color LCD panel that is backlit by LED. The Mobile Intel HM76 Express Chipset is what runs this beautiful machine and the Intel HD Graphics 4000 accelerates the graphics. You’ll also find built-in stereo speakers and a built-in digital microphone. The battery will take about 2.5 hours to fully charge from a fully discharged state, and can power the Lifebook for up to 9 hours.
While the Lifebook is only sold in Japan, it can be found on Fujitsu’s Web Mart online store. The Lifebook is sold with three different amounts of RAM: 2GB, 4GB and 8GB. It does not come with a built in optical disk drive, but USB support allows for an external disk drive to be used. The color options and pricing of each are available on Fujitsu’s Web Mart, and occasionally a discount is offered for ordering the Lifebook online.
