Top Online Storage Services

Cloud computing has become a pretty big deal recently and one of the biggest impacts it has had is allowing users to back up their information online. With so many people taking digital photos and saving them to their computers, it can be difficult to keep things safe if there isn’t some sort of back up in place. Looking at different options for saving all of your important files somewhere in addition to your PC or Mac is a great way to ensure that no matter what happens to your computer, your files will be safe. Read on to learn a bit about some of the top online storage services out there.

JustCloud.com

This is easily one of the best online storage systems out there for a few reasons. First off, this is the most price effective way to store your files online. At $9.95 a month for the max storage, you aren’t investing much to keep your data backed up. How much is the max storage space though? Well, for under ten bucks you get unlimited storage space online and you can upload any files you like. In addition, you can schedule when to back up your files, share them with others and access them from a mobile app. You’ll also benefit from encrypted data uploads and a desktop app, so not only is it easy to store your files, it is safe and secure. JustCloud is easily one of the best options out there.

Carbonite.com

Carbonite is the second best service out there. Again you are going to get unlimited storage for under ten dollars, $8.25 a month to be specific, but you do lose out on a few features. First, you can’t share files or folders, and can’t customize a link for friends and family to go to specific files. This is probably a bigger deal for those that want to share images with family, or files with specific business partners.  While a minor issue, you also lose out on the ability to preview files online.  Other than that, this is a great service for those that are simply looking to upload files to an area that is safe and secure in case something happens to their hard drive.

OnlineStorage.com

Finally, you can find unlimited storage at $6.00 a month through Online Storage, but you lose a few features here too. You won’t find “file versioning” which can be important if you accidently delete a file. File versioning lets you go back to a previous uploaded version of the file. You’ll also have no ability to restore deleted files if something were to happen by mistake. Outside of that though, you are looking at one of the most affordable and easy to use online storage sites out there. With little to worry about once your files are uploaded, all three options are great choices, just find the price and features that are important to you and get those files uploading before something happens to them permanently.
