The Evolution of The Computer Era

Hi everybody. Remember ten years ago when technology was pretty much moving along at a slower pace then it is now? Remember when having a cell phone was deemed a luxury and not a necessity? I remember those days quite well and in many ways the lower levels of technology actually were better for us. Ten years ago, computers were not as critical to our everyday existence and this allowed for families to spend more time together. Today, almost everything you do requires a computer. At present, you can do almost anything you want from the comfort of your easy chair. In this day and age, even your social life revolves around your PC via Facebook and Google Plus. If I had a choice, I would turn the clocks back to the days of phone booths and good old-fashioned hand written letters. As a whole, we have lost some of our individuality with the computer age even tough it does make everyday chores easier.

How To Clean the Internal Components of Your Desktop

Hi everybody. Today we are going to talk about how to keep your computer running as cool as possible. Have a fast system is not always related to software. There are times when a system will slow down simply because the hardware components are running too hot. This is more likely to happen in an older computer although it can happen in any system. Over time, a computer can develop issues such as bad bearings in a fan; dust accumulations in the processor heat sink and sometimes the fan on your onboard video card can go bad. There are a few things you can do to help minimize these types of problems and I will discuss them in this column.

How To Recover A System with Safe Mode

Hi everybody. For every computer user probably the worst thing in the world is to start your computer in the morning and boot to either a blank black screen or perhaps you might see a faint flash of the infamous “Blue Screen Of Death” just before the system decides to reboot on its own. Then you decide to try again and POOF the screen blinks its ugly blue eyes at you and reboots again.
