Basic Tips and Tricks for Microsoft Outlook Express!

Microsoft Outlook Express is one of the programs in the Microsoft Windows operating system. It is a program that allows users to send and view e-mail without the use of a web browser. In short, it is a convenient program that can help you organize your inbox and send mail easily. Although this program seems redundant, it is actually as important as your usual web and computer tools and skills such as computer virus removal.  But how do you use Microsoft Outlook Express?

First off, you will need to set up your account. The question here isn’t so much about how as it is about the information you need. To set up your Outlook Express account, you need the following: your e-mail address, your internet service provider username, the password for the account you’ll use, and your incoming and outgoing mail server. When opening the program without a previous account, all you need to do is input all this information in the account wizard that will open with the program. After this, you’re done. You are done with your account set up. If you have previous accounts, all you need to do is choose the Tools menu, click on Accounts, and choose Add. Here, choose Mail to add a new email account.

Of course, sending mail using Outlook is just as easy as sending mail using your normal browser-based email account. Simply open your Outlook Express program and press the Create Mail icon at the very top part. After this, the email box will appear. Just like your usual mail, it has three sections: the receiver’s email address, the subject of the email, and the context box. With Outlook, you wouldn’t need any computer virus removal set up since it’s already part of the program.

Sending pictures is also just as easy. Simply open the email box then click on the Insert menu. From there, choose the Picture option. Once chosen, the Picture menu will appear. Choose a Picture Source by clicking on the Browse button. Then, find the picture file you want to insert from your own files. After this, press OK. This will allow you to insert the photo in the body of your email. If you want to insert a picture as an attachment, choose the File Attachment item from the Insert menu. The attachment box will appear after this. Choose the file you want to attach then press OK. After this, you have already included the picture on your email as a file attachment.

Besides the number of benefits as such as the computer virus removal program, Outlook Express allows you to create rules on your account so your messages and email data will be instantly organized. Go to the Tool menu the click on the Message Rules item. Choose the New item to edit certain rules regarding people, email folders, and numerous other options.

Microsoft Outlook Express is easily one of the most convenient and useful email programs you can ever use. It will definitely change the way you use email.
