The NetSpy Trojan Horse virus will make your computer run slower.  Your computer will run slower when you begin the boot up process to use your computer, opening a file, saving a file or running a program.  If any of these problems have started to happen on your computer, you will more than likely have the Netspy Trojan Horse virus on your computer.  Another sign that you can look for to know if the virus has infected your computer is the homepage that is located on your internet browser.  Has your homepage changed on its own recently?  Even after you have changed it back to your original homepage?  Now is the time to have your computer checked for the NetSpy Trojan Horse virus.

Now that you know the virus is on your computer, how did the virus infect your computer?  The virus will attach or “piggy back” to programs that you download onto your computer or links that you click on while browsing through the internet.  The NetSpay Trojan Horse virus has bundled itself within the download or the link.  When you click on either one of these options, you will not only be installing the program, but you will also be installed the virus onto your computer.

To prevent the NetSpy Trojan Horse virus to infect your computer, be cautious about the websites you visit, the programs your download and the links that you click on while in websites.  Along with links that you can click on, be careful about clicking on any of the pop ups that appear as you are searching through new websites you have never visited before.  If you are unsure about a link or pop up, play it safe and do not click.  You can always contact the company about the pop up or link that appears to make sure it is valid.  If you cannot contact the company, use the internet to Google the link to find out if it is really valid.

To remove the NetSpy Trojan Horse virus, you can attempt it on your own, but you will find that it is difficult.  The virus will plant itself deep within your programs and files and will start to bundle itself within your other programs.  The reason this happens is to make it harder for you to find the source.  Use an antivirus software or spyware software to help you remove the virus.  The antivirus will not only help you remove the virus, but will block future viruses from infecting your computer.
