Why it is so Important to fix PC Errors as they occur and the problems that those issues can cause

Solving PC Errors Whenever They Happen .

There are several computer errors that can possibly occur at different points when we use our PCs. These can happen while the system is booting, while the Windows OS is loading, or when your computer is running programs already. Here are some of tips on solving PC errors, no matter when they occur.

If you encounter an error during the system boot up, it is usually because of a problem in the BIOS settings. BIOS or Basic Input/Output System is a chip that can be found on your computers motherboard that helps in operating your PC. Errors during this time may also occur if important hardware such as the keyboard or the mouse is not functioning or connected to your PC.

If the error occurs while Windows is loading, such as if your computer freezes, while the operating system is loading, the error most likely occurred because of a problem in the registry. This usually happens if there is a problem with an application or an update that you have installed in your previous use of your computer, there is a faulty hardware device or device driver, some system changes you have recently done are not compatible with your hardware (i.e. display settings your monitor cannot support,) or a driver or software you have recently installed may be conflicting with other existing software applications that are on your PC.

Ways to solving these PC errors, can be restarting your computer with the last known good configuration. You can do this by restarting your PC and pressing F8 when the boot screen disappears. Then you can select the Last Known Good Configuration option. If you have recently installed an application or updated a driver, try reinstalling them. You might need to reboot using Safe Mode, which allows your system to load only the essential processes and services which also makes the reinstallation process much simpler and more efficient. When you have uninstalled the driver or application, make sure you use a registry cleaner tool to remove any corrupted files from the registry. After, you can now boot in Normal mode and reinstall your software or reupdate your driver. Should these methods still not work in solving your PC errors, you can perform System Restore, which is a feature which enables the user to rollback your computer to the last known good configuration. This can be done by going to the Start menu, clicking on All Programs, then Accessories, System Tools, and finally System Restore.

Should the PC error occur while Windows is running, as most errors do, there are several ways to repair or prevent them. To be able to do this, always make sure that your system is updated such as with patches and service packs. Also, install and regularly update anti-virus and anti-spyware utilities to make sure that your PC is protected from malware. Regularly repair the Windows registry to avoid it from being cluttered which may lead to corrupt and fragmented files. Use the Disk Defragmenter and Disk Cleanup tools to free your hard disk from errors or unwanted files.http://www.optimize-your-pc.org/
